Why Be a Plumber?

Silicon Valley–level perks aside, there are plenty more reasons to become a plumber. Key reasons to consider a plumbing career include: good pay, good benefits, good job security, rewarding work, and (of course) a large number of job openings—which extends to all of the trades, not just plumbing.

“Between the number of job opportunities, the impressive starting salaries and the great long-term potential, there’s never been a better time to enter a technical field,” says Ranken Technical College.
